Clive Burr, baterista de Iron Maiden en los tres primeros álbumes de la banda británica,(Para mi opnión personal la mejor época de la banda...), falleció a los 56 años.
El músico sufría de esclerósis múltiple y según informó la agrupación en un comunicado, falleció "en paz mientras dormía en su casa".
Burr se incorporó en 1979 cuando tenía 22 años para tocar en Iron Maiden, Killers y The Number of the Beast. En 1982 dejó la banda y fue reemplazado por Nicko McBrain, quien todavía es el baterista.
